Captains Marine (established in Key West 1980) is approved by the United States Coast Guard to conduct classes aboard the USCG Certified M/V Miss Virginia ( see photo below ) featuring a hands-on "GET REEL" approach to achiveing your Captains License. Why sit in a class room when you can be at the helm of the Miss Virginia conducting practical exams in lieu of written exams such as marine radio telephone calls, man overboard drills, epirb deployment, plotting, use of radar, gps, loran c, fathometer, flare drills, and many others. Rules of the Road will be a written exam.
